General meaning of curing

In the first place, how are you recognizing the word of「curing」?

Probably, we think that you may think of two meanings at least.

1.Well considering daily life and planning health enhancement. Care of health. 「Putting down drink liqueur and cigarette, caring daily every day.」

2.Doing one’s best to recover from illness. Recuperation. 「Changing living place for caring.」

3. Operation work of protecting from low temperature・dry・impact or so, in order to fully stiffen placed concrete or mortar.

4.Defending fouling of moving goods or surrounding, when moving furniture or painting work or so, in order to protect them with cloth or board. 「Curing sheet 」

Among above these sentences, I personally often talked to my grandfather and grandmother 「Please take care!」 as above No. 1 meaning.

After going to high school, I got to know above No.4 meaning, when going to higher school.

Of course, we will explain above No.4 meaning here this time.

 

Meaning and purpose of curing used for construction work

Once again, the word of curing is executed for the following purpose at construction work.

・For the purpose of protecting what should not be hurt such as existing fixtures, or furniture at public area,

in operating work room or others, when moving materials for work

・For the purpose of avoiding invading of dust or chip just closely outside operating work area,

also avoiding nuisance of fouling or frequent sweeping, when executing operating work

When moving or transporting big materials, talking about elevator, there may be an occasion of protecting all the faces of door area.

 

Next, about directly above second sentence, it is concerning curing to avoid nuisance of fouling or frequent sweeping.

Situation of curing against dust

 

Above picture is a being cured situation that household goods are temporarily placed at another work site.

Adhesive tape is attached to green portion of curing tape so called masker.

So, it is being protected from dust or chip to which may occur to be invaded and go into or foul when executing board constructing work.

Not to foul at most will also lead to reduce sweeping nuisance.

Thus, curing also helps keeping from nuisance for reducing sweeping frequency naturally let alone protecting public area,

customers’ household goods and equipment, floor and wall, after executing operation work.

 

Conclusion

Although too much excessive curing may lead to lower work operation efficiency,

in case of damaging・fouling public area or customers’ furnishings or so, it actually is getting priority backwards.
