on its meaning, and would like to express my opinion.

 

A general meaning of curing

In the first place, how do you recognize the word of「cure」?

It seems that you may probably think of two meanings at least.

If you quote from the page of goo Japanese language dictionary,

there are four meanings as follows:

1.Well considering your living, and trying to improve your health.

Regimen.  「Put down having liquor and cigarette, everyday usually ―.」

2.Making efforts to recovery of illness. Recuperation. 「Changing of air and ―.」

3.Construction work of protecting from low temperature, dry, impact and others,

so that concrete and mortar to be fully hardened which were driven into.

4.When moving furniture or painting work and so on,

for preventing damage of moving goods and surroundings, protecting with cloth or board「―sheet」

 

Among above, I personally often talked with the first meaning 「Cure yourself」to my grand parents.

After going on to the following stage of education from high school, I got to know the fourth meaning.

Of course, we are explaining the fourth meaning this time.

 

 

The meaning and purpose of curing used at construction work.

 

Once again, curing at construction work is carried out for the following purposes:

・When moving materials, for protection of the existing fixture and public space,

furniture at the operating room which should not be damaged.

・When doing operation work, for defending of dust and

chip invasion to outside of operation areas,

and nuisance piece-works with fouling or sweeping.

 

In the first place, the above first meaning of the situation of curing for the protecting

what should not be damaged is the following picture:

The above picture is a floor curing situation at a certain site.

Did you happen to see curing situation at moving of standard house or moving of office and so on?

By neatly cutting and setting curing sheet(=blue sheet) at necessary areas,

it is sticked with curing tape or masking tape from shifting off.

Although it does not appear in this picture,

when moving materials in and out by using elevator or so,

and sticking out room door part and the like,

we go on doing construction work of curing at door part and elevator inside for protection.

Curing the wall too, we go on moving sharp materials so as not to be damaged.

When moving goods or moving big materials,

it may be necessary to protect full faces of the door part in the elevator too.

 

Next, we are talking about the second curing of defending

nuisance piece-works with fouling or sweeping.

The situation of curing dust.

 

The above picture is at another site temporarily placing household goods at the room corner,

and curing situation.dust and chip coming in when doing construction work.

Not making dirty will lead to diminishing nuisance of sweeping.

This way, curing is also useful for omitting nuisance of sweeping after construction work,

including protection of public area,

our customers’ household goods and equipment, floor, and wall.

This time, we explained curing with our example pictures.

Although too much unnecessary curing may lead to lowering work efficiency.

However, damaging or fouling of public area or our customers’ equipment is really getting our priorities backwards.

kindly describe clearly to your appointed construction company about「Strict prohibition of hurting certain part at the floor」

「Getting upset if this equipment especially happens to be broken or getting dirty」or so on.
