Our company is an interior finishing construction company professionally doing mainly at Ikebukuro area, Tokyo, the midpoint, also in all over Kanto area, in charge of all of interior finishing construction work, such as LGS work, board work, GL(=gypsum lining), cloth・floor finishing work, and so on.

 

Therefore, today, we are explaining LGS work where our professional construction work team are often doing LGS work at a lot of work sites.

 

LGS is an abbreviation of Light Gauge Steel(=made of light weight steel framework ), the origin of ceiling and wall bedding material.

LGS work is a kind of frame work of making bed at wall or ceiling. After all, it is a work of making frame of interior finishing, isn’t it?

We may also call it frame work or mounting work, still all are the same.

For bedding of ceiling and wall, wooden material was used long time ago.

But, using wooden material work took much time and costly. Compared with wood, LGS has different properties and a lot of merits, this LGS work is popular widely now.

 

The merits of LGS work:

・Light and easy for processing, work period is short

The thickness of steel plate is 0.5mm very thin, and light material. As it is light, the load against building such as ceiling or wall is little. It is easy for shop fabrication and site processing.

Good processability itself can directly lead to shortening work period.

 

・Excels in durability, moisture proofing

As most of all the component parts are steel, it is uneasy to burn and has moisture resisting property.

 

・Cost saving, environmental friendly too

As the mass production and shortening work period are possible, you can reduce labor cost and it will lead to save cost.

Steel material for LGS can be recycled, so it is an environment friendly material.

 

As it has such a lot of merits, it is used at a lot of places such as housings, shop and stores, offices and others.

 

After finish of mounting LGS, we go on sticking on gypsum board(as another name, plaster board) and other bedding board.
