For me, who is working at the office usually, as there is little chances to visit a site, it was a good studying occasion.

This time, it was a two-day site visiting, as the first day, mainly about so-called decorative cloth, and the second day, mainly about floor work.

 

For those who work at the site, it may be natural, however, there are really a lot of little ingenuity or scheme for operation work. With that little ingenuity and scheme, I admired that these ingenuity or scheme would probably really lead to smooth operation work.

 

On the first day, I mainly observed operation work of going on sticking on so-called decorative cloth on the putty treated wall.

 

 

In order to stick on so-called decorative cloth(wall paper) neatly, it is that puttying skill is important.

While using various tools(dust collecting machine, roller, and so on), by the crafts worker’s skill, the joint has also become completely invisibly neat situation.

 

On the second day, I observed floor work.

After getting rid of the dust and others on the existing marble stone floor, the workers go on applying floor tile・floor sheet use adhesive.

As the adhesive is totally fire ban and it also smells rather bad, we also ventilate enough air.

Because the existing marble stones scarcely have water absorbing property, after drying adhesive by electric fan, they stick on new floor material.

And, they stick on the floor material by cutting to match the size.

 

 

After finish sticking on the floor material, they fully crimp it with roller, mop and so on.

Base board is, a part material to install at the connecting part of wall and floor.

What they are using this time is, soft base board.

 

They also installed the door.

 

Although there still remains to do electric work and cleaning, it has almost come to the final finishing situation.

 

Besides, one of the fun is lunch time.

As the site foreperson and crafts persons proposal, the lunches of the two consecutive days were noodles.

They were really delicious without fail.

That is all for our explanation of my site study and observation this time.

At the site study and observation this time, I saw the places which I usually almost cannot see, and I directly asked relative questions, so we did a precious experience. It was exactly「Seeing is believing」.
