On structure

When looking for property or so, don’t you often hear the words of「wooden built」「concrete built」「steel structure built」or so?

By way of our prior introduction this time, we are firstly explaining structure shortly this time.

After all, generally said「structure」means a root basic part maintaining earthquake resistant and stiffness as skeleton(mounting frame).

In almost all the cases, they are seemingly largely divided by materials as above, and called so.

 

Wooden built (W built)

 

It is a structure whose pillar or skeleton face except base or so is combined with wooden materials.

Among wooden built, such as log house, there are log mounted making method, framework method, and so on.

Recently, there are cases of constructing reconstituted wood by using strength enhanced materials. They are also considered wooden built.

In Japan, traditionally, wooden materials are produced very much, and as the weather is rather hot and humid, its structure is the most used for resident now too.

 

Steel reinforced concrete built(RC built)

 

It is a structure method of firstly mounting reinforced steel at the center, mounting frame, pouring into concrete, then making hard.

This method can be complementing concrete and enforced steel with demerits each other. It is also becoming building which excels in strength.

 

As it is in high airtightness, heat is difficult to be moved out or moved in. So, if it should be neatly constructed with heat insulating materials or so, there is a possibility of being able to spend with relatively comfort to a certain degree even if with rather weak air-condition.

But, as it is easy to in summer, it is necessary to consider dehumidifying and air-condition.

 

 

Steel frame built (S built)

 

It is a structure of L type・ H type or so combining various shaped steel made materials

It is a kind of structure using special steel frame at the center, and go on pouring into concrete there, then make it

The earthquake resisting property・flame resisting property are the highest, so it is mainly used for super tall buildings.

 

As its cost is high too, also compared with similar level but different structure resident, rental fee is high often.

As for sound insulating property, it is not necessarily good. It depends on interior decorative situation.

 

(An addition) Mixed structure

 

It is a kind of relatively new structure, made in combination of wooden built and steel frame reinforced concrete built or so.

Taking designability effect and weight, durability or so into account, so as to utilize plural merits, it impossible to combine them.(Such as steel frame structure at garage part, wooden built at second floor and upper and so on. )

 

On partition bedding materials

As board materials (such as gypsum board and the like) used for partitioning rooms themselves do not have their own firmly fixing or independent durability, so we go on assembling and mounting bedding, fix with special peg screw(bis)  on the place, and stick them.

The materials used in that case are following two kinds:

・Wood

・LGS

 

From the perspective of easy fine adjustment and abovementioned moisture conditioning property, wood has been used since ancient times.

In modern times, from the viewpoint of material stable supply, wood is inferior to LGS.

However, as it is much used for present resident, in the case of recovery construction work or so, it is still frequently used much.

 

LGS charming point is material stable supply.

It has basic length specification, and after moving it into the site, doing fine adjustment with high-speed cutting machine, disc grinder or so, then is done construction work.

 

As LGS features, there are:

・Uneasy to occur crook・ bend as material character

・strong against damages of fire, white ants

・inferior to wood built in easy moisture conditioning property and rattling building

・easy to move in as its weight is light

・inferior to wooden bedding for old resident in the case of fine adjusting necessity

 

There is not without demerits, however, especially in office, shop or store, LGS is now used for almost all the cases.

 

As it is a professional business service, among interior decorative work contractors, so called 「LGS work specialized 」「board work specialized」(there are a lot of work contractors able to work both too ) like us are often requested actual construction work.

Of course, as for interior work contractors undertaking「full set of interior decorative 」, they are holding work staffs who are able to work for LGS frame bedding and board work, it is available for almost all cases.

For construction work contractors written words of doing「LGS work」「board work」, they are especially putting strength into the relative work, so they can be said to be entrusted work contractors.

 

Wooden construction=Please be careful as it is not wooden bedding

For example, when searching property at realty, please suppose that we have found wooden resident.

However, nowadays as for 「swollen wall」or so which is constructed work on ceiling bedding, partition wall bedding, and piping, we can notice that they are LGS frame bedding in a lot of cases too.

Also concerning a work site which our company taking charge, there were patterns of partly used LGS frame at ceiling, wood at bedding and so on, we are introducing in the following pictures:

Usually, there is not any case combining part of wall bedding with wood・LGS frame(as according to season・weather, rate of expansion and reduction are different), it is possible to combine as designability.

 

Besides, as for wooden built resident, by using LGS frame bedding, as fire resisting performance of bedding material goes up, even if it is wooden skeleton, it is not unusual that LGS frame is used for partition wall.

Skeleton structure・material quality and partition wall are not necessarily the same.

 

Summary

This time, we explained structure and partition bedding materials as above.

Before starting to work for this company, I myself thought that「except for board material and so called decorative cloth, all other should be made of wood material.」.

But, actually 「even if any structure, wooden bedding・LGS frame bedding can be used, and can be combined to be used」.

 

・There are various structures for building. As for interior decorative bedding materials, there exists two kinds, namely wood and LGS frame.

・LGS bedding is used for various structure buildings, such as office, shop or store, resident and so on.

・It is also possible to use LGS frame for wooden built resident. From the viewpoint of workability and fire resistance, it is often adopted too.

 

 

Before starting to work for this company, I thought that「besides board materials and so called decorative cloth, all others are wooden built」.

 

In property website, there seems to be that there is possibility of seeing building often like「feature of 〇material built」.

 

「Because of 〇material built excels」may be generally correct. However, its situation can be rather changing due to interior decoration.

 

For example, in the case of making meeting space in the office, instead of making easy and moveable screen, steel partition or rather making by using LGS bedding gypsum board wall can enhance sound insulating property.
